Staying In Place:

Illustrating a Report on Flood Recovery

THE PROJECT
Adapted illustration and document design for a King's College London research report on place, loss and climate recovery in Lismore.

The report needed to communicate flood survivors' experience of place loss and grief to both participants and government stakeholders, without reading as a standard government report or a plain word-processed document.

CLIENT
Dr Helen Adams,
Senior Lecturer in Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation. Department of Geography, King’s College London

“Studio Troppo worked with me in such a thoughtful, sympathetic, informed and iterative way to produce illustrations that really brought the themes of my report to life.”
